# Printed  Version:  This map is published in association with the Latin American Wind Energy Association (LAWEA) and was launched at the September '09 LAWEA Conference in Panama. This map shows the location, generation capacity and owner of all wind farm projects in South and Central America including Mexico. Wind Farms in place, under Construction and those fully consented are shown as well as many of the projects at proposal stage.  The map also shows major grid lines and transformer stations in the background.  This map is available free to Members of LAWEA. from the association.
